New Chapters

Woah, it's been exactly a month since I last posted! I can't believe it's nearly June. I mean, where the hell did April go? I've become a boring old overworked undergrad with nothing fabulous to talk about besides school, so... you have been lucky.

Thank god for funny professors and obliging friends coz it's been one helluva semester. Days were spent juggling essays and nights spent flirting with old flames. French class was so hard that I accidentally started speaking Spanish during the oral; and I had to study so many language disorders that I probably delevoped dyslexia myself.

I'll be starting my internship next Monday, so that'll be another story altogether. A little apprehensive about it coz my workplace is gonna be so. far. away from where I live! :((

Sure, Singapore is small but taking public transport for an hour in the morning can be a right bitch. I hope the past 22 years of skating through life won't make me buckle under professional pressure. Also, I'm terrified at the prospect of being alone. Human beings generally piss me off so I do hope my future colleagues are awesome and nice. And young.

Am I ready for the real world at all? No, I am not. Getting a job has never featured in the grand scheme of things in my life. Plus, it's way too soon after my exams and a break has not yet been caught. I am not mentally prepared to go from this...

.....
...
..

to this--

But oh well... I'm never ready for anything anyway so there's not much difference, I guess.

Wish me luck, though, will you?

Please, you will soar over the new hurdles with the easy grace of a dancer. But if it makes you feel better, I do wish you luck.

And I wish you had a break before getting to work. That sucks!

LOL love the South Park-like images, I think you can still rock short hair when you have a job haha. Congrats on alost finishing up this semester and starting a new internship! An hour commute is a biatch, I went through it every day when I went to uni. And I've graduated and am STILL not ready for the real world ... so don't worry, take your time and enjoy life :D

you think one hour is far enough? in Jakarta it's one good progress, y'know how's the traffic in here.

good luck baby! :*

you'll be fine!!! ;) i love your drawing comparison though. hahaha! btw - while working with young people is fun, i've actually found that working with old people is more bearable.. aka LESS DRAMA. hahaha! ;P

You work in Bintan Island, one of the best islands in here. So whenever work brings you down, just put on some bikinis and break the heart of the hotties haha :P
