The Little Idjits
Shitty questions you get when you're a substitute teacher for a day:
1) What's your race? Are you from America?
What I thought: The importance of my race is..?? Before I give you a blow-by-blow phonetic description of my pronunciation practices that do not suggest an American accent, you better shut the hell up and do your work.
What I said: Be quiet and do your work.
2) Can I do some drawing? ... Oh but I don't have paper.
What I thought: ET DONC?? Do I look like a paper dispenser? A fucking stationery shop? Go get some from your loser friends, d'oh.
What I said: I don't have any paper. (I didn't even bother telling her to ask her friends for some.)
3) You're pretty. Are you married?
What I thought: I missed breakfast, I'm extremely hungry, very tired and losing my mind. Do NOT ask me random stupid questions which have no bearing on your education. And I do not appreciate you implying that ugly people never get married.
What I said: No, I'm not married. I'm 20, like hello.
4) What's your religion? Are you Dutch?
What I thought: Sorry, twerp, but I wasn't aware that Holland is now a god. Whatever. Bug the shit off.
What I said: I'm not Dutch, and my religion doesn't matter. Now get to class.
...
You might guess that I'm not a fan of 10 year-olds. I just hate humans when they're at that age where they think they know everything. Or maybe I'm just not in the right frame of mind (yet) for a job. ANY goddamn job. Grraaaahh. Doesn't matter that I already have plans to go Ferragamo shopping with my first real salary after graduation. It's gonna be like, student loans who? HAHA.
What's wrong with my priorities, again.

You work as primary sch RT now eh?
It always amuses me when you blog about your future. Entertaining somehow.
hey! i sensed some dutch blood in you, too the last time remember? (rofl) oh is it the black ferragamo? ;)
@ Flash: Not really, it's only for 3 days, tomorrow is my last day. (I hope)
@ putra: YES it's the shiny black one! Wheee~~
funny.... I just dont get how you could relate dutch to religions????
Dear Nashatella Educacionis!
You are just too charming, my dear. No wonder they had all kind of questions ;-) I can't blame them. I mean, d'oh! Check your photo albums and your IQ! You're like Siti Nurhaliza meets Marie Curie ;-)
Good luck for your last 3 days.
I love that you got hit on by 10 year olds. Kids these days!
lol... why would you take a job as a teacher??? :)
Hehe, very funny. Loved your real and imagined responses too :)
oh trust me. it doesnt take a day for lunatics like us (or just me :P) to finish up first salary.
i can just finish it in a blink of an eye. (first hand experience bwah ha ha)
I'm a teacher and I know that subs have it the worst. I sub for an after school program in my district and that's bad enough. My kids know that if they aren't good (and respectful to the sub) they are going to pay for it for the next couple days!
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is sooo funny!!
I could never do that though, I have 0 patience. Plus kids get on my nerves in like 0.3 nanoseconds!!!!
totally with you, i was a girl guide leader for the past year and i've decided i'm not going to have kids anymore.
Kids ask the darnest things! It would be more annoying if those questions were asked by adults.
I hate ten-year old's too. Me, I totally skipped that age. Haha.
@ Carina: Coz teachers here get paid a lot, and I so need the cash!
HANG IN THERE, GIRLY!! You did it once...can do it again!
hahahahah awesome. i love kids, but when they get past 6 years old.. they become know it alls! >:( most of them anyway. boooooo!
@ Denise: Thanks
@ Kym: Exactly! Hahaha!
Kids that age tend to ask a ton of questions...Really annoying questions. You handled the situation well. =) Kids are cute and all but too many kids for too long a time is not exactly a good idea for me.
she should've not spit it... she should've let it flow out of her mnouth like a drool... that's sexy!
btw, you girls really talk about it regularly? juz wonderin'
sorry, the comment above should've been posted in your previous post... sorry again, my bad.
The last two comments cracked me up, haha...
Thanks, John.

@MKL hehe
@ John: I think, no matter what, it's just not a very comfortable thing for anyone to have the semen in the mouth for too long.
hahahahaha.. so funny.. i just cant stop giggle.. but overall it was fun to be a teacher, waasnt it?
@ Nitia: It was fun last time, when I taught at a different school.
I love you babe! hahahahahahaha your attitude toward small children is similar to mine.
@ Andhari: YEAHUH. They just won't let up sometimes!
