But all I can tell you is... I'm a Muslim and I don't like Israel. I never will. I hope they all die screaming. And I really don't care if you think I'm biased or that I have childish thoughts right now. I really don't. I think I'm entitled to feel this way. Ok? Bye. I need to work on my assignment.

sorry, woozie is wrong. the palestinian genocide has only secondarily been a matter of religion. the early palestinian resistance was secular and socialist. this conflict is primarily a protracted struggle by israeli zionists (zionism = racism) to steal what remains of palestine. they have done this militarily and have done it thru collaborators (most recently fatah). they have done it with the help of arab bourgeois regimes, notably egypt and saudi arabia. all of the hallmarks of colonialism are there. this is not a matter of religion.
nonetheless one does not expect nashe^ to emerge from her shopping bags long enuf to put together a class analysis ;-P

Yes, I actually do realize the role of Egypt and Saudi. But it's a matter of religion to me, though, no matter what decade this takes place.
oh, i forgot to say -- they have done all this mostly with american money.
and yes, as mel mentioned, boycott israeli goods whenever possible -- in this way shopping can make a difference
Girl. There is just no justice in this world anymore. Religion is tricky enuf on its own to be added with politics.

What needs to be done primarily is simple. The arab nations have to band tgthr and cut oil supplies to the fucking hellhole called israel.
there IS a religious motivation though it's not the official thing. it isnt abt islam-judaism but i understand, it'll always be about religion for the people of the Muslim world.
