a lil help here...

*sorry for the comments schtick; but its up now!*
Ok, so we have all heard of the saying:
"Out of sight, out of mind". (ie; if you aint there, he/she ain't thinkin boutcha.)

And we've also heard of
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder".. (aww don't tell me you don't know what this means)

I think both make sense in their own twisted ways, but...i find it boggling. Very argueable. I'm not sure which saying relates more to reality. This is like, a Plato vs Descartes kinda debate. haha..
Which appeals to people huh?
...Like, which is more real? Which view do you support?

Nashe,
I think both are true, but the deciding factor as to which fits a particular situation is how much do you truly love a person?

If it's just puppy love or a crush, some time apart will prove it was shallow and each will move on to other pursuits.

If it's true love, the time apart will help them realize just how much they miss the other person, and how much they love them and want to be with them.

It's all a matter of perspective. Both are equally true according to the situation in question.

Glad you got the comments fixed, I was having withdrawals because I had my spiel all ready and couldn't post it!!
Happy Hump Day! LOL :)

I agree with what Lena said.

If I'm just dating a guy for the heck of dating, to fill the boredom, kill time and also cause I've no one else to date, then obviously it'd be out of sight, out of mind. Heck, it's parteeeeeee time when the dude's not around, man. Bring out the champagne and celebrate. Woohoo!

However, if I'm dead in love with a guy (something that is so possible that I've never thought could ever be possible), then it'd be absence makes the heart grow fonder. In fact, every second apart would just tear me to pieces and make me mope around like a love sick puppy...

So Nashe, which one are you with your current beau? If it's the outta sight outta mind one, I hope he (or they for that matter) doesn't (don't if it's plural) know you have a blog. Lol. ;-)
