Alrighty then

Back in April I blogged about this guy I called D, who knows way too much about me and my personal shit. And the reason he knows a lot is because we treated each other like someone we'd never have to see again, like anonymous secret keepers. I expected him to bust out of this country and back to wherever he came from, taking my nonsense with him. But as we all know now, he's elected to stay longer.

It's been 5 months of cordiality, but a few nights ago he told me his visa was expiring. He needs someone Singaporean to accompany him to the Immigration Authority and convince the officer that he has reason not to be deported. The fact that he actually asked me was a huge joke!

But today, I signed papers claiming to be the sole sponsor of keeping his ass in my city.

Whaaaat? I wanted him out, and somehow became the one to guarantee that he'll stay? How the hell did this happen?

The mind works in mysterious ways.

Whaaat???? Sounds like the plot of a light comedy/romance movie. Perhaps it will become a summer blockbuster! :)

I hope his staying ends up being good for you and Singapore.
