"Marko from Tropoja"
I had an AMAZING Saturday with an old friend whom I'll refer to as Marko from Tropoja. Badass buddy, badass movie, badass food and badass drinks. I was supposed to be finishing up 2 essays but lets face it, I so needed a break.
Watching Pierre Morel's Taken was great, especially since the cinema we went to was devoid of anyone we know. And it was all smiles when we scoped out the most kickass store in the entire Singapore (YES I AM EXAGGERATING but who cares).
Seriously, I now know where to go if I wanna reward myself. And you know I've really fallen in love with a place when you don't see any names or locations being mentioned. :))
We went to a supposedly high-end restaurant for some dessert after all that, only to discover that the food was actually very affordable. (I've actually been there once before, but never really looked at the menu nor settled the bill). We bought a BOATLOAD of food for only two people. So much for "dessert".
And yes, the food was good. It's the kind of good that makes you grin as you take the first bite, how bout that? HAHA. Or maybe we were just high, coz even sipping the drink(s) got us chuckling. Then, as always, we went all over Clarke Quay. Standard Operating Procedure.
I lost my phone towards the end of the night, FYI. My PHONE. I wouldn't have been so freaked out if the Nokia wasn't the one with all the rude n' crude stuff inside. (read: hunky nekkidness) Running around panicky in 4-inch stilettos was no mean feat but I'm lucky to be able to get it back. The man who found it has promised to return it today. I'm luckier, though, to have Marko from Tropoja by my side throughout the whole ordeal. I love you, Marko from Tropoja.
Alors. I'm off to collect my phone in a minute! And if I don't find it where I'm supposed to find it, someone's goin' down.

I'm glad you had fun on your weekend. My easter sucked, as did the rest of the Holy Week so no surprise there. I love the pictur. Lolz at that.

I think I would have sat down and cried if you weren't there. But then again, I wouldn't have been so high and lost it if you hadn't been there in the first place.
